A Prayer of Thanksgiving and Praise
Yours Is the Kingdom, Power and Glory!
O Lord, I praise You. From everlasting to everlasting, beginning to end, You alone are God! All greatness, power, glory, majesty, and splendor belong to You, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. All the kingdoms of the earth belong to You, and You are exalted as head over all. You are my God, and I will give You thanks and worship You only! You are God above all gods—Creator of the ends of the earth and sovereign over all!
This day, Father, I join with all creation and pronounce that You are great and greatly to be praised! I will praise Your holy name! I join with Your angels this day—mighty ones who do Your bidding and obey Your word—and I praise You! With all of Your heavenly hosts and servants that do Your will, I join in declaring that You alone are God and there is no other! With all of Your works everywhere in Your dominion I proclaim: “You are awesome, O God. Great is Your power! Nothing is too hard for You!”
Thank You Father that You daily bear my burdens. You are the God who saves. I choose now to bring the concerns of my life to You and lay them at Your feet.
- From my sinful nature and all within me that yet wars against Your Spirit, save me, O God. (Pause and listen and respond to the Holy Spirit.)
- From selfish living that keeps me from responding in love to those around me, save me, O God. (Pause and listen and respond to the Holy Spirit.)
- From worry and anxiety that robs me of Your joy, save me, O God. (Pause and listen and respond to the Holy Spirit.)
Father this day I ask for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit that sponsors praise and glory to You. May Your glory be over all the earth and over me Lord! May the enemy cringe before You and all bow down to You alone. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth this day as it is in heaven! Yes and Amen! For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever! Hallelujah!
